The room was neat and en suite with a multi-channel TV, ironing facilities, and a writing table.
Possibly the best and wonderful stay of two nights. Fantastic, magnificent location close to restaurants and bars. Also - next to the Cockermouth or the surrounding area, a lovely market town with lovely owner/hosts in an interesting house and the centre of Cockermouth.

All in all everything was superb, had a brilliant stay of two nights. The daily breakfast was absolutely superb with triumphant poached eggs and hot chocolate, for instance. The location was prime, in the north lakes, it's a plus.

It was in an ideal and prime location in the centre of town. And it was also next to the Cockermouth or the surrounding area, all the bars and restaurants, and Blocks Steakhouse.

Incredible breakfasts, the stay was such wonderful!
Everything was perfect, charming old hotel. The location was great and perfect and the staff members were pleasant. It was located in a local area just off the Lakes and a lovely market town, a characterful base for me. The food was great, had a good choice of options.
